How are you? Really?

That’s all I want to know.

My life is generally one kindness encounter after another, but this week was decidedly different. Pretty much everyone I engaged with was voicing some kind of complaint, under some kind of stress. Someone even threw a shoe at me, as Havi Brooks would say.

[And I take this tiny moment to offer the most astounded, blown away by love, thank you to my mailing list who responded to the kerfluffle with an abundance of love.]

So I’m just checking in. Wanting to hear how you are.

Let me know if there’s anything I can do to make your days easier. Happier.

Don’t let your heart freeze.

Hello Mahala! just paying you back a visit, after seeing your comment on Elder Nuns post . . . Thank you for gift of beautiful image. As far as stressful encounters, I too have felt some of that as well. The holidays are not what they are cracked up to be!

Dear Mahala,

Sadly it is that time of year when tempers run short. You have a much better attitude then I do!
Love the photo.
BTW…………I signed up for your new program through Paypal. I was a little late because I will be traveling a lot during that time. However, I do travel with a laptop so hopefully will be able to participate to the fullest.

Marguerite ~ I love your site and your writing, I’m looking forward to reading more. It’s so sad to me to see how stressed people are. I’m grateful for my *mostly* quiet life.

Ladyexpat ~ I’m excited to have you in the program. The fact that you’ll be on your laptop, from Bali no less (one of my dream-to-visit places) is inspiring.
