Shelly ~ Thank you so much for this feedback! I was thinking of the need in terms of people finding that inner space / time to meditate. You've reminded me, too, that it can be so much more effective to listen than to try to read and do. Valuable insight.

I need to look into the whole record and download thing. But I know it's not too difficult. Thanks again!

Hi Mahala:

I really like your idea of recording this meditation so we can download and listen. That would really help me. I tend to be challenged with just reading a meditation and trying to do it on my own. To be able to listen to a guided meditation is much more effective for me, at least until I am familiar with the process.

I will try to do it on my own too and let you know my experience.

I definitely think recorded meditations or teleconference calls (with a download) would be great!

Hey Becky ~ Thanks for finding the time to try out the Bowl of Stars meditation, and for your kind words. I think the fact that you said you were finally able to sit still and do it points to why there hasn't been much response here compared to other posts. It's clarified for me that I need to create a better container for people (such as a teleconference call) when I offer meditation practices. A good thing to learn. Thanks for your help with this insight.

It sounds like you had a powerful experience with the meditation. I encourage you to keep visiting the Bowl of Stars and see how it evolves.

Crying. Yes, much crying is usually what happens to me, too.

Hi Mahala,

I was finally able to sit still long enough to try the Bowl of Stars meditation this morning! I think you're right in that there's really no right or wrong way to do it; I think the way I found to do this meditation was pretty idiosynchratic. Anyway, I'm not sure what happened, but something significant happened. As soon as I became the stars that were suns, I had a great deal of crying. There was really no thought attached to it, but that didn't seem to matter. I'm going through a really hard time right now, and to get the brief glimpses of my soul while I did this was truly a gift. I don't know why not many people've responded to this post. It's a very profound, moving post, and it's worth giving this meditation a shot. Definitely!

Hazel ~ thank you so much for your consistent kindness and support. I'm happy you found some resonance in this guided meditation. I KNOW you are always offering dedication prayers with your altruistic heart.

Dear All ~ I wonder why I've not heard more from you regarding this meditation. Maybe when you're surfing blogs you're not in stop and meditate mode? I will make some time to record this so you can download and listen. It takes you to a truly beautiful inner space. One where you can discover your inner light and wisdom and hold the world with love.

"you are a walking hologram, containing all that is, filled with light." this does resonate with my practice and i do dedicate this immeasureable feeling to ALL beings suffering in this lifetime...and beyond.
